From Rock Camp to Ukulele Boot Camp to Choir Camp, here’s what we have planned for the Summer of 2025!
Come rock with us at Rock Camp 2025!
We’re thrilled to announce that ROCK CAMP is back this summer with two exciting weeks of music, fun, and performance. Open to students aged 8-18 with previous musical experience, campers will spend the week rehearsing and perfecting their skills in preparation for the end of week concert each Friday at the Mahone Bay Legion. Fostering band camaraderie is a key part of the Rock Camp experience. Under the guidance of our teachers, Campers will be put in bands based on their age and ability, where they’ll gain confidence and hands-on experience in the following:
music history/songwriting & lyrics/stage preparation/live sound/performance techniques and more!
10am - 3pm
Week 1: July 7-11
Week 2: July 14-18
We wrap up each week with a Friday concert at the Mahone Bay Legion from 3 - 4pm.

Make music memories with Miranda this summer!
Ukulele Boot Camp (Ages 7 to 12)
July 21st -25th
10am - 3pm
Campers will learn:
How to tune your ukulele/tuning by ear/basic chords/strumming patterns/songs with 3 o 4 chords/how to read tab/reading rhythm
The week will culminate with a short 20 minute concert on Friday afternoon at 3pm.

Choir Camp Week 1 (Ages 6 - 8) *Can be flexible
Aug 5th - 8th *note short week due to August long weekend
10am - 3pm
Location: Buchanans House of Music
Campers will learn:
Vocal warm-ups/blending voices to sing in unison/singing songs by repetition/easy rounds/simple music theory/rhythm games
This camp is perfect for absolute beginners. Being a younger group we will take plenty of breaks and include games in our approach to learning. The week will culminate with a short presentation of what campers have been singing on Friday afternoon at 3pm.

Choir Camp Week 2 (Ages 9 and up) *Will consider younger kids who have some singing experience
August 11th - 15th
10am - 3pm
Location: Buchanans House of Music
Campers will be learning:
Vocal warm-ups/singing in harmony/simple and not-so-simple rounds/basic music theory/reading notation for singers and as many songs as we can manage!
This camp is designed for students with some experience singing and/or reading music. Those with no experience will be considered, please contact Miranda to discuss. The week will culminate with a 30 minute concert at 3pm on Friday.
